M42 with 20s exposures

William Shaw

This is one of my experiments using many short exposures to manage an image with very bright regions. 420 subs at 20s each shot with a Hypercam 26C at 700mm and f/6.5. Stacked in APP, processed in PI and PS with some simple noise reduction in Topaz to deal with residual noise in fainter regions. Photos taken Jan 4 2022 in Oxfordshire UK.
