  2. Evening, not a normal target or capture for me but I've been wanting to do this for a while. Its an RGB 3 panel mosaic of the Vulpecula region, it's densely packed with stars. Each panel has 1.5hrs of data It's best viewed as large as possible https://od.lk/s/NjJfMjIyNDc5MDhf/Image10.jpg Would be interested to get some feedback on whether you think more exposure time would improve it?   3. At the bottom of the review it states that he was given the opportunity to review. Not sure if that means loan or gift. Not sure of his relationship with them either.
  4. To add another contender into the ring, the Antlia 3nm. Found an interesting comparison with the 3.5nm versions which I have. Antlia 3nm PRO Oiii Narrowband filter comparison They use some really bright stars in the review so you can really see how good they are. Although there will always be differences between filters, some will be better, some worse.

  8. Thanks for all the kind words. I have since taken another few hours of Oiii data but on comparing the stacks there was not a lot of difference with the original so not currently worth reprocessing although maybe I will again someday.
  9. Afternoon All, Spent the last few clear nights on this target which I've been meaning to do for a while but hadn't gotten around to. I don't usually do RGB stars with my NB targets but I think it's something I'm going to try and do more often, 28x600s Ha 68x600s Oiii RBG stars, 16x60s per channel. Edited in PI and Photoshop.   14. I'm 100% sure it's in the same way around as the Ha and Sii and they look fine so I'm pretty sure it's not that.

  18. That's taken with an LED panel same as the other flats. No other Oiii filter I'm afraid I wonder if it could be defective, might ping Antlia and find out. Ha for comparison
  19. Yeah, that always happens with my Oiii. I'm not sure what causes it but I seem to see the same pattern in my flats, but only the Oiii any help would be very welcome. Wyvern
  20. Thanks Brian! After the first lot of subs I just had this tiny nebula (for my FoV) in the middle so I decided to go nuts on the Ha. To be honest I'm not sure why I did 300s rather than 600s but i think it worked in my favour as it's still pretty low in the sky at the moment so neither the guiding nor the HFR were great. Hopefully I'll be moving from my current 20.26 bortle 5 to a 21.26 bortle 4 soon which hopefully will make a difference.

  22. Good Evening All, After a nice streak of clear nights but not many narrowband targets about, at least not in my field of view from my garden. I've never been fully taken by the Wizard nebula, not in the same way as with the Jellyfish or the Rosette. But after a significant amount of imaging time it has started to reveal it's secrets. Total integration time 24.75h 143x 300s Ha 92x 300s Oiii 62x 300s Sii This shows the fainter details of the Ha around the nebula itself. Feedback always welcome. Wyvern
