  1. I agree. It has done a great job for me on Emissions all Summer. Very happy with it. 😉 Thanks very much Peter! CS!
  2. Yes Mark. That's why I tend to do it in a couple for palettes. Different "moods' and details.

  5. I got a chance to refine it slightly. 😉 CS! Wayne
  6. Thx Carole! I was surprised what captured, when I tried it in the faux Hubble approach. 😉
  7. The small open star cluster NGC 7510 is located at the upper left.
  8. Hi guys, Way over coloured, which is my "style". lol I call it the "NASA Cartoon" palette. 😉 Used Lukomaticos Hubble for OSC. Haven't had the time to process in natural colour yet. Almost all of my images will be missing "fine details" compared to longer duration Refractors or Newts. Mostly because I get little time and it's whatever I can grab in couple of hours. Then you stack up and bunch of lenses with the 14" Edge, Hyperstar, 26c, etc and you lose some of the finer detail. Since I'm not entering competitions, I'll take it, for a "fast grab". 9. Oh! Forgot to say. Thx for mentioning the GPU thing for PI. I went out and bought a got suped-up Nvidia just to do that, and couldn't get it to work as per instructions. A buddy said the same so I didn't try again. I will now that you mention it works for you. 😉
  10. Yes, nicely done. I use Lukomaticos "Hubble for OSC" (Youtube) w/ IDAS NBZ for f.2 instead of L-Extreme, which many use with higher F ratios. Here's my 2 hour shot. You got more detail and "black". Taken with 14" Edge , Hyperstar, and 26C. Plus I like your "non-halo" stars. A trade off with 120 second subs and the Hyperstar for fast acquisition, is Halos around brighter stars. I'll "take it" though for two hours of acquisition. CS!
  11. Thanks guys! I'm going to try it again when the Moon recedes. It was well up and 99% full when I took the image. The only thing that made it possible was the IDAS NBZ with the Hyperstar. The whole thing was bit of an experiment to see what I could get with such a Moon up. I believe I will be able to fill the field with faint nebulosity when the Moon is out of the sky. 😉 CS! Wayne
