Sharpcap PA

Recommended Posts

Hi, just a heads up incase anyone makes the same mistake as I did !

I've used Sharpcap PA successfully for years with my finder guider ... Tried it on the C8 for galaxy season (knowing it would be difficult due to the narrow field of view) but it did work quite well.

ZWO 1600 mm / C8 reduced 0.7.

It does however take forever to solve and update 😞.

Then it hit me ... 32mb files on USB2😁

Now binning while polar aligning, makes the stars easier to find and speeds up process massively.
