Popular Post peter shah
Not often photographed, Polaris surrounded by Integrated Flux Nebula....Its surprising how much IFN is there. I took this remotely from Spain with the 105 f1.4 Sigma lens and ASI2600MC. 53x 300s unguided exposures a total of nearly 4 and a half hours. Processed with Pixinsight and Photoshop. Thanks for looing Peter
MarkAR
Superb image Peter, first time I've seen that around Polaris though I have heard there was some sort of nebulosity around it.
PaulB
That's excellent Pete. You didn't have any issues with Starlink photo-bombing then.

Thank you, I knew there was some fluff there but wasn't expecting so much of it.. 5 minutes ago, PaulB said: That's excellent Pete. You didn't have any issues with Starlink photo-bombing then. Surprisingly few....strange as whenever I use my Polemaster I always seem to see them skipping across.

rwillits
Who would imagine the Polar North could be so interested. You have been getting some amazing photos with those short lenses.

Thank you....This little set up is one of my favourites....I say little...its not that little, because although its a short fl its still has an aperture of around 4inches.... 1 hour ago, Dmack1 said: Wow! Sonyme
What a cracking picture Peter. To the unaided eye Polaris is a bit of a lone star. I had no idea it was surrounded by so much nebulosity.
