Weird Satellite Weather Map

Recommended Posts

I was checking the weather to see what my prospects are for imaging tonight. They are not good, so I scrolled over to the UK to check their chances tonight, and couldn't believe what I saw. This is a screenshot taken at 6pm UK time from WunderMap. It's the strangest cloud formation I have ever seen.

All the clouds have gravitated to the land mass and none in the seas around.  Only very N Wales and tip of Cornwall free of clouds.

Although we get a lot of cloud here that is a bit unusual.

It looks like the clouds have been placed deliberately over the UK. 😀

Perfectly normal -  Brian did you not know that the uk land mass sits on a special mantle that contains a rare type of metal called CloudusMagnetus and is usually strongest in the dark winter months. It's effects are easily observable through telescopes and often results in a human condition called HumanusPeedOffus and often manifesting itself in frowning of the face, shaking fists skyward and annoyed rants often including expletives 🤔

Yes, and the CloudusMagnetus is always strongest as sunset approaches. 😂
