M20 The Triffid Nebula with H-alpha added

Recommended Posts

This is a revised version of the Trifid Nebula .
I felt the original needed some H-alpha so I grabbed 30mins worth to lift the background.
Exposure times were 60x60s in Luminance, 30x120s in each RGB and 10x180s in H-alpha, a total of 4and a half hours.
Thanks for looking

Hi Peter, the Ha, has really enhanced this already stunning image, I can't say i have ever heard of any-one doing it before, so hats off to you for thinking of it.

I also love the one of the Core.
