Popular Post Allen Mitchell
In December of 2019, I built a roll-off-roof observatory in my back yard with the help of a buddy of mine (Tim Schuh). I've had it up and running for about 10 months and it's worked out nicely for me with one notable exception - which was a flawed choice in material I made. I had to rebuild the pergola structure that the roof rolls off onto which I fixed a few weeks ago.
KevS
Looks a very nice set up. Shame about the cloud. But I suppose it's part of this at times somewhat inane hobby we have.
Allen Mitchell
@KevS I'm not always clouded out. It's more of a tongue in cheek name. Though, in my part of the world, it's not uncommon to go a month without seeing the sun, especially in the transition months (Spring and Autumn). Jkulin
Hi Allen, that looks a lovely Obsy.I have only been to texas once and we had two days of pure heat wave followed by the mother all rains when visited the space centre. Mind you if it’s rains much here, then I’ll be moving to Texas???
