It is an SHO combination of 30 hours of data, most of it taken during the June/July twilight hours.

I wasn't expecting too much with most of the data taken in June and early July, but it has come out better than I thought it would.

TerryMcK
I like all the colours in this one and the image has a feel of delicacy about it. Stunning.

Thanks Terry. I'm pleased with the result. I'm debating whether to add RGB stars into it, but I don't think they would add much to this image.

Generally I don't like to remove green in Narrow band...it tends to dull the overall colour and send the reds a flat rusty tone. A sympathetic balance is better in my opinion. Green should be in the image but also should be well balanced with the other channels.......I like the colour you have

Please to hear you say that Peter, as I sometimes think that green tones add something to narrowband images which after all isn;t true colours anyway. Isn't it broadband that people say there should be no green? Carole

Green should be in the image but also should be well balanced with the other channels.......I like the colour you have I used to remove all the green with SCNR, but recently I've started to cut it back to 50% or less, depending how much green is present after the relevant stacks have been combined. AstronomyUkraine
This is a new version with a different technique to combine them. This one is a combination of a straight up SHO in ChannelCombination, I also made a dynamic combination using this formula in PixelMath. The two combinations was further combined in PixelMath. I settled on a 50/50 combination of the SHO combination and the dynamic combination. The result had a surprisingly little amount of green it, but magenta stars and a little magenta in the background. I removed the magenta halo using this formula, which also took care of the background too. The new version has a bit more depth to it I think, and I think the colour is better in this one.
