peter shah
M31 the Andromeda Galaxy bathed in ionised Hydrogen. Imaged from Spain with the FSQ 106ed at f3.6 and the stunning ZWO ASI-6200 full frame Cmos camera. Exposure times were 140 x 240s frames in H-a with LRGB 100 x 180s in each channel a total of nearly 31hours. The faint H-alpha in the background was very difficult for me to pull out probably making this my most challenging process to date. Thanks for looking Peter Shah here is a revised version with some work done on the the background Luminance layer that was showing some additional structure Edited July 27, 2021 by peter shah

Thank you, it was a massive challenge to pull it out the signal was so faint. But I am quite pleased with the end result.
