CaptainTweaky
Beyond a doubt this is my favourite nebula image. Taken way back in July 2013 shortly after I bought my Wave Series 115 - in fact the first image taken with it. That seemed very appropriate as the Pillars of Creation were also amongst the first images released by the Hubble Telescope. This was imaged on an Atik 314L+, so I had to squeeze its pips to achieve this image with just 1.4 mpixels!Messier 16 - The Eagle Nebula, Pillars of Creation

CaptainTweaky
Posted by: @Carastro Beautiful image, and such tiny stars.Carole @Carastro - Thank you kindly. As this was taken using an Atik 314L+ a little software assistance was need to reduce the star size - this is evidenced by faint artefacts by some of the stars! ?

Gina
Even though I have a good southern view, that nebula is only available for a few weeks in mid summer and we depend so much on the weather! I'm hoping to have another go at it next year - didn't manage much this year.
