Wyvern
Very very nice, as Gina says well worth the effort you've put into it.
MarkAR
Wow, that's a fantastic image. 20 hours of integration is a bit of a marathon.
Rattler
Thanks guys. Yeah, like I say it was a huge challenge and a risk of getting nothing. The single 900s subs showed barely any nebulosity at all so it definitely needed the time on it.
DaveS
Oh yes, well worth the marathon integration.
CaptainTweaky
Impressive - an excellent image of an object that I didn't even know existed. How do you find such things? I rely quite heavily on Stellarium to find targets.
Rattler
@CaptainTweaky Cheers. Yeah, I'd say there are less than 100 images of it on Astrobin. It's not hit that often. I spotted it on Stellarium when zoomed in quite far but it was as a custom object. It wasn't until I added the SN catalogue as well that it came up with details but that was after imaging it. I used the coordinates to find it.

Will have to add the SN catalogue too.

Gina
It's amazing what can be achieved if you put your mind to it and you definitely did that with a vengeance! And what a result!! Tremendous ?
don4l
Superb. I wouldn't have thought that this was possible with a OSC.
Rattler
Thanks guys. Guess it's really pushing OSC. I like the challenge.I was in touch with a few imagers in the US before hand who have captured it. They thought it was hit and miss whether I'd get anything. Infact one quite well known one wants to go back to his colour camera after seeing this to experiment and for me to give him some advice. Bit unexpected. Andy 274
Mega result that - especially when imaged through the soup of North West skies (fellow sufferer)
Carastro
I have never attempted this target, I suspected it was faint. Well done on pursuing it and getting such a fine result.Carole
