Rho Ophiuchus, one of my favourite parts of the sky. A two panel mosaic in LRGB 1hour and 20mins in each filter imaged remotely from Spain with the FSQ106 at F3.6 with the ZWO ASI6200MM Pro. Processed in Pixinsight and Photoshop. PI makes light work of a seamless mosaic.

Thanks for looking

This never ever fails to disappoint me. What is there not to like?! Just so much going on and it's stunning. Great job!

Thank you Vicki, I will be revisiting this part of the sky over the next few years and build on what I have.

Beautiful image with amazing colours Peter. Alas this is one object I will never be able to capture from my location, I don't think it ever comes above the horizon.

Ye it only skims the horizon in the UK and to be honest it doesn't get very high in Spain either

I absolutley agree and if I could get back to lower lattitudes with any imaging equipment this would be my number 1 target by a long long way - it is an amazing piece of sky and your image is once again stunning. I have the Full resolution up on a 4K monitor and the detail, the dynamic range from star cores to dark nebula and precision of focus across the field makes a breathtaking image - from aquistition  through processing another world class image,

Thank you Bryan. I had to reduce it to 3000x3000 so it would upload to astrobin. The full native file is 10000 x 10000 its 493Mb .....I am getting it printed, it should print quite well.

A spectacular image -  it's one of those images that has something new wherever you look. I have to say this is one of pictures that makes me look at what I do and start to think "right, what do I have to do to achieve a similar result?" Inspirational - that's the word!

Thank you Paul..... I have been chasing this one for a few years now.....I will still revisit it as there is nearly everything in one place. In this frame it has a Star cluster, Globs, Dark Nebulae, Emission, Reflection including a yellow one ... I don't know of any others and its got a tiny galaxy IC4596....
