paul
I got lucky last night with about 4 hrs of clear skies, and no gremlins in the system. I want to add some more data to this to reduce the background noise a bit but I'm pretty happy with my first pass processing. Details: 300sec subs @ gain 200, 20x Ha, 25x Oiii, AA 70mm ED-T, ASI1600mm Pro and HEQ5+ASIAIR Pro. Cheers, Paul Edited August 28, 2021 by paul

paul
This is take 2🙂, I captured more frames last night - softened by frequent high cloud (total it is now around 7.5 hrs). Spent a little more time in the processing which has given me fainter detail, reduced stars and overall its less crunchy. Comments and critiques welcome🧐 I didn't bother with flat frames, the combination of the AA70mm ED-T + FFFR with the ASI1600mm seems to produce frames with no important vignetting. This is very different from my reflectors. (Updated the image - the jpeg lost too much). Edited August 29, 2021 by paul
paul
And with my final processing using Starnet I was able to bring out more nebulosity and strands. I think I've pushed the data as far as I can without bringing in too much new noise.
TerryMcK
It looks great Paul. Toning down the stars has done it.

MarkAR
Third one looks the best to me, well done.
