M17 - Omega Nebula

I chanced my arm on Sunday. The sky was very hazy.

I got this one.  September is a weird month for my aspect of sky. A house blocks the North East, I have to wait until October before M33, Heart and Soul swing into view.  It does give me the chance to catch up on summer targets I may have missed - which given this year's weather, is all of them.

I think my halo control is improving - a few crept through and I got some dark ones too...

The last time I shot this was unmodded DSLR with a IDAS P2. The CMOS camera + Optolong L-eNhance brough a lot more whispyness.

Looks good, this is one object I can't even see from my location, too many tall trees to the South.
