paulgrover68
An unexpected clear night yielded some data on the Elephant's trunk. It was a bit of an odd night. Gear all worked brilliantly, but by 10:30 I was so tired I could barely see. So I called it a day a 30 x 300 second exposures. I think 10 or so more might have been useful. I'm going to say this is probably going to be reprosessed. I don't think I did a good enough clean up after starnet++. I am really keen to try the RC Astro pluggin as it seems to go a good job and means I can keep all the post stack processing in Photoshop. This was the first time I've imaged this one.

Nice image Paul. Is the RC Astro plugin the new Photoshop plugin called StarXterminator, it has rave reviews and is supposed to be way better than Starnet.
MarkAR
That's a lovely image Paul. Nebulosity looks great but the stars seem to lack something. Might just have pushed star reduction a smidge too far.

I think I've worked out the sweet spot for removal, but not yet worked out the best re-integration, so lose some pop to the star layer.
