Sarum
Monday night was quite misty but I couldn't resist the opportunity to image IC 1396. Through a series of mistakes the outcome wasn't the Elephant's Trunk Nebula, but a nearby region further to the NE, still in the same region of nebulosity but closer to LBN456. Anyway here's the result of 60*180 sec subs with an ASI 1600MC (osc) fitted with a quad-band filter. Not what I intended but quite interesting. Thanks for looking, Roy

Sarum
Thanks Peter, I made extensive use of your star reduction PS action, can't say I'm a fan of Bob Ross though!
