294 mc pro & L extreme first light

Hi all, I  finally bought a dedicated astro camera (zwo 294 mc pro), a optolong l extreme 2 inch filter and the new asi air plus. This is 5 hours of 5 min subs from last night of the Soul nebula though I have to say I didn't frame it properly ! I was rushing a bit in the end because for some reason I just couldn't find focus but after a month of clouds it was nice just to get something.

One thing I wasn't happy with was the number of Halo's from the L extreme when I came to processing ?

 

  All in all though happy with the new gear and hopefully it translates into better images.

You’ve done a good job Paul. I can’t see much sign of haloing at least they are not apparent on my iPad.

Hi all, just had a spare couple of hours so had another play in pixinsight with different pixel math combinations etc . I think this revision is much more subtle in terms of stretch, colours and blacks but overall I think I prefer it. Framing doesn't get any better though !
