P Holdsworth
Hi all, this is my first attempt at imaging the rosette nebula. It's not got the depth of colours yet but given it's just two hours of data under a 90% moon I'm happy with the start. Hopefully I get to finish this one soon as I've always loved images taken by others of this beautiful nebula. Doesn't look like there's going to be any sessions this week so just thought I'd post my start and also to wish everyone a very happy Christmas. All the best Paul
Dmack1
Thats a really nice start Paul, I love the deep blue. Was this the L-enhance or L-extreme?

P Holdsworth
Thank you both. This was with the L extreme filter and a 294mc pro David which I'm loving........appears to be a nice combination so far. I would say there's a huge difference with the L extreme over the L enhance IMO. Just out of interest apparently in the new year there's going to be a L ultimate filter coming to market which I believe is 3.5nm of band pass on both HA & OIII.
