Popular Post Kris N
I finally sat down and processed my first picture of the Horsehead. I ended up cropping the image because of a circular gradient I have been getting, but I still llike it. It's 9hrs of exposure collected over a few nights (2 of them with the Moon in close proximity). It's the first time I have used a dual band filter so could not resist to process it in HOO. I think the filter has done really well from my bortle 8/9 location. Processing done in PixInsight with some final touch in PS. Taken with: AA 102 ED-R ASI 2600MC Antlia ALP-T 5nm dual band

P Holdsworth
Very nice image Kris. The filter has done a superb job on Halos. Can I ask what durations your individual subs were ? Cheers Paul

These were 300s exposures, looking at the ADU readings I think there was still some room for longer exposures at the same gain 100. I thought I would just stick to 300s to see what comes out of it.
