Optolong Filters

Which of the Optolong range of filters, is best suited for use with an OSC CMOS camera.

I am thinking the L- Pro  ?

I do not have the enthusiasm, or the time, to go back to Mono/LRGB imaging, as I did back in my previous imaging days.

I use the L-Pro for reflection nebulae, galaxies and, supposedly, a general increase in contrast and the L-Enhance for emission nebulae.

The L-Enhance is brilliant...not (surprisingly) as extreme as the L-Extreme. I'm still not sure the L-Pro makes that much difference where I'm located. Guess it depends what you intend to photograph, but would recommend the L-Enhance if you like emission nebulae!

Thanks for that input.

In my previous imaging days (pre 2014), I lived in rural village without any street lighting, so never needed any form of LP filter.

Since then, we moved house/village, still in a village, but a much larger one, and with street lighting.

Although these go off at 23.30, there is still some sky glow from the lighting on A12 trunk road, which passes the village, and these remain on all night. Its not bad but  my images would be better without it. Fortunately, I am 5 miles away from the town of Ipswich, and over 15 miles from the light pollution hell of the Felixstowe Container Port. orange sky glow that has to be seen to be believed.
