I am having a issue getting the camera to work at night. I have a z10 dobsonian, can get it to focus and line up during the day. At night, nothing. Any tips or advice ? Thanks

During the daytime have you focused with the camera in place it on a target a long distance away (e.g. a few miles/kilometres?) If so leave the focuser at that adjustment then in the evening set the camera gain to maximum and exposure to at least 1 second, do you see anything then?
