Hi all. Great to see another forum. The more the merrier!

To introduce myself;

My name is Frank Ryan Jr, I've been observing and photographing the night sky for 40 years this year. Past chair of Limerick Astronomy Club (formally Shannonside Astronomy Club)

have contributed astronomy articles and images over the years to Sky & Telescope, Astronomy Now, BBC The Sky at Night Magazine. Shortlisted for inaugural Royal Greenwich astronomy photographer of the year (I reckon I'd not get in an asses roar of that these days with the quality of the images being submitted!)
I try to popularise astronomy and dark skies as much as possible.  I like to give astronomy talks and show people the sky through telescopes as public starparties and sidewalk astronomy events. I've travelled extensively to dark skies and to experience astronomical events such as lunar and solar eclipses worldwide. I love astronomy and all things space and sharing my passion for it with others.
