AstronomyUkraine
HaLRGB image of M81 in the constellation of Ursa Major. Considering the amount of Lum data I had, the end result is not too bad. A mixture of bad weather and a full moon limited the amount of data I collected. Processed in Pixinsight, with final sharpening in Photoshop using the High Pass method.

Astrobdlbug
I like the colour as well I particularly like that you have processed in such a way that detail in the core is visible. I am not a big imager of galaxies mainly as I don’t have telescopes with enough f/l. What focal length did you use for this Brian ?

I use a bit of HDRMultiscaleTransform to keep the core under control. I'm not an imager of galaxies myself, much prefer nebula, but with my visibility, nebula are disappearing fast over the horizon. The FL was 840 using my Esprit 120 with a flattener.
