P Holdsworth Posted March 1, 2022 Share Posted March 1, 2022 I had a relatively clear night on Sunday but with wind around 18 mph for most of the night. Guiding was a real challenge and was between 1 to 1.5 arc sec ( normally 0.6 to 1.0) so kind of knew the stars would be horrendous. Given the conditions I almost didn't bother setting up but took my chances ! Anyway I managed to get 3.5 hours of 5 min subs on the monkey head nebula using a zwo 294 mc pro, L extreme filter and the asi air plus. Processed in APP and Pixinsight.
