paul Posted March 2, 2022 Share Posted March 2, 2022 I surprised myself with a lot of Ha data and very little RGB. In total I have 9hrs of Ha and only 1hr of noisy RGB. Processing the Ha was really nice, deconvolution really tight with no ringing - bottom line if you want an easy process get lots of good data. I'm having luck with my guiding too so my stars are tight. So, this is a work in progress. If the weather allows, I'll get a lot some more RGB and maybe Oiii too. I've marked my OTA so if I come back to this target next year I can orient the scope just right to hopefully superimpose the diffraction spikes.
