Brian - AstronomyUkraine

Lovely Carole. I speak to Brian almost every day and I haven’t heard back from him for a few days now. I’ve been very worried and tearful. I am sure he is ok but has no internet or phone access. Thinking of him a lot and praying that he’s safe. 🕊

I have to admit that selfishly I never clicked about Brian living in the Ukraine, @Hannahgrace thanks for letting us all know that he is OK.

As you talk to Brian regularly, are you based near Brian? If so are you safe as well?

If anyone living over there needs any helps, then I would be glad to assist and I am sure anyone on here would do so as well.

I'm not sure what the postal service is like out there, but if there is any food or clothing needed then just ask.

@Carastro No problem with this subject Carole, being a friendly forum, anything really goes as long as people are respectful of other peoples views.

Great to hear from you Brian and that you are safe and well and that you have a safe place to stay.   Poland are doing a wonderful job helping the evacuees and many other countries doing their bit too.

Thanks to everyone for your concerns. Thankfully I'm alive and well, currently in Krakow Poland, but will be moving to the South of Holland on Wednesday. The situation in Ukraine is dire to say the least, but an army of volunteers in both Ukraine and Poland are helping enormously with the flood of evacuees. I'm hoping this madness ends soon then I can return home, but even when it ends, there will be a massive amount of problems facing Ukraine. It could be at least 12 months before any semblence of normal life can be resumed.

So very glad to hear from you Brian, it was a big concern for everyone.

If you get stuck where to live for a while, then I have a large empty home that I would be only too pleased to help you out and even when I move, then would be pleased to help.

Be safe Brian!

Thanks a lot John. We have decided to stay in Holland for the immediate future, we will rent a property here. It is close to where my partner works, so would be an ideal location.
