Stub Mandrel
It took a few hours to transfer and PIPP all my data from last night.I've just put the first run of 500, rather than 5000 (my error!) framnes through AS!3This is the best frame, unprocessed and unstacked, so I'm hoping for great things!

Mick_H
Well done Stub, nice pic.I have not even attempted to use my new camera on the planets, as it has been clouded here out for two months.
Stub Mandrel
OK, and here are the results of some very long-winded processing. A Winjupos of the best runs, and some different processings of the very best run... I suspect this is about as good as I'm going to get with a 6" newt.
CraigT82
I think that's a great result, especially for a 150mm scope... both Elysium Mons and Olympus mons clearly visible. Very nice work!
geoflewis
Neil, that's really excellent detail from a 6" scope. As Craig says, you've got those 2 mountains, plus I see the now very small SPC, Sinus Gomer extending from Mare Cimmerium and cloud formations over the north pole and both limbs. A very nice result indeed.Cheers, Geof
