Smerral
This morning's sun, 10.30 UT. Shot with the double stacked PST and Altair GPcam V2 mono, an 8 panel mosaic. This cam gives strong and narrow Newton's rings. However, they don't appear to affect the stacking and are easily removed by an FFT filter. The latest solar acive regions imaged imaged in CaK - Altair Astro 102 ED-R stopped down to 70mm, plus Lunt B600 CaK module. Camera was the Altair GPcam V2. 15/300 frames stacked.
