P Holdsworth
Hi all, I've taken a couple of months off through galaxy season so ready to go again once the nebula's clear my obstructions. I'm having to get my astro fix at the moment from re processing some old data with hopefully improved techniques in pixinsight. I took this one over two nights in January ( just 3 hours) but never posted as I wasn't happy with it at the time but having just re processed it I think it might have more potential than I originally thought. I've got this one along with a couple of others to revisit this year to add data and hopefully get a nice image. Anyway I feel refreshed and ready to go again !! 37 x 5 min subs with 294 mc pro + L extreme Cheers Paul

Carastro
If you don't mind a little constructive criticism, it looks like a really good image, but it has been over smoothed IMO. Carole
P Holdsworth
Thanks Terry & Carole. I don't mind at all Carole especially as you're right it's definitely over smoothed. I did noise reduction in pixinsight and then when I took it into lightroom for finishing I did a bit more ! When I add another couple of sessions to this one I'll correct it. Thanks again Paul
