You have been very busy imaging recently.

Hi Carole, yes the new pier really make the difference as I can be out and imaging in literally 5 minutes. So I can take advantage of those short periods when conditions are right. Previously I'd not have bothered lugging all the gear out and starting from scratch on the off-chance I may get a couple of hours. Just was not worth the excertion!

Stunning image for such a short integration. Low on the horizon too from where I am.

Thanks Len, Yes the ASI2600mc is just an amazing camera. And when combined with the new Noisexterminator in Pixinsight I'm finding that such short integrations are coming out better than expected. But I look forward to the darker nights again when I can get more time on target.

It is very low for me too (53N) and really I think its about as low as I could go. Which is a pity because I'd love to try the helix nebula and some others.

Having tried the Eagle a couple of nights ago I can appreciate now it's not an easy target from where we are. It was pretty low for me too. I only managed an hour in less than perfect conditions. Your image shows much greater detail and depth.
