AstronomyUkraine
When connecting to SGP tonight, I received an error message. Sequence not found, or corrupted. SGP opened up with a new sequence, no user profile or equipment profile was associated with it. In fact no user or equipment profile could be found. A slight panic set in, but after opening an old sequence, all the user data and profile data was restored. Big relief. I still had to make a new sequence for the target, but that was no problem, just uploaded an image into frame and mosaic.Has anyone else ever had similar problems with SGP?Brian
Skipper Billy
I haven't had that particular issue but I had plenty of others!I now use N.I.N.A. - just as good if not better, stable, easy to use and free!https://nighttime-imaging.eu/
AstronomyUkraine
@skipper-billy I've dabbled with NINA, Voyager and APT, and they are good programmes, but somehow always come back to SGP. It's very rare I have any problems with SGP. The only other problem I've had is not doing an autofocus on a filter change.
Mick L
Had a problem the other night, took ages to load up, also it sometimes doesn't load the floating modules and I have to reload all of them again. Tried NINA last night for the first time but could not get on with it at all.
