AstronomyUkraine
The video on Visible Darks Youtube channel explains it way better than I can. Shawn gives an introduction to the Pixelmath expressions, then the guy who produced this method takes over. I installed the icons on Pixinsight, and I have to say they work fantastically well on narrowband images. The big drawback is the expressions rely on either StarXterminator or Starnet++ to make the required starless image. They work fine for nebula, but for images containing galaxies, StarXterminator and Starnet++ tend to destroy small galaxies.
