Gazza1137
Hello, I wonder if anybody can help me? I have just purchased an Altair Hypercam 26C plus a 0.80x reducer and what appears to be 32 and 37mm spacers to replace my Canon 5D. My scope is the Starwave ASCENT 102mm ED F7 Refractor. I will also continue to use an Altair 2” magnetic filter holder to combat local pollution levels. Can somebody advise the order I should attach these from the scope to the Camera? The gear I have purchased is shown below. many thanks, Gary
paul
Scope-> FR/CC->adapters->Filter draw ->Camera is a typical setup. It can depend on the diameter of your parts, you generally want the smallest aperture parts closest to the camera to minimise vignetteing from them. So M42 closest to the camera. You have the M42 2" filter draw so that stacks up.
