Bob-c
Had a try on Friday evening to get something of Mars before its to late. Have got quite rusty at Planetary imaging from my garden using my mobile rig and setting it all up, i am used to a pier mounted setup and an observatory now.[forgot how cold it gets outside brrrr]. It was a challenge trying to get Mars on the chip, it must have taken me best part of an hour and i was getting rather cold. Imaging scope was Cpc 800 , camera is Zwo 224mc. 30% of 28,ooo frs. using Autostakkert and Regestax 6 for wavelets, also Photoshop for a bit of tweeking.Bob.

CraigT82
Very nice work Bob. I always find the spiral search function in eqmod useful for geting the planet in view. Cheers
gufo20
Nice, and very realistic. Always worth making the image as close as possible to what the eye sees visually at the eyepiece.I use a cheapo Skywatcher flip mirror to get the target on the chip. Saves hours.Chris
