Lunar images using C8 and AAIMX178C - Saturday 12.11.22

Hi folks 👋 not posted very much or been out scoping much to be honest due to a busy year or so but I am aiming to get back to it more frequently and share images and learn from like minded folks. 

 

These are a few lucky imaging lunar pics from Saturday night (12.11.22) all captured using my C8 and Altair IMX178C Hypercam. 


Each of the images were captured from 3000 frame SER raw videos using SharpCap Pro 4. The best 20% of frames stacked with AutoStakkert 3, and final post processing with Photoshop, deconvolution sharpening detail recovery.

The Sea of Nectar in shadow, the trio of craters Theophilus conjoined with Cyrillus and Catharina bending to the left and onwards to the steep sides of  Rupes Altai.

The dark Sea of Serenity comtrasts the bright Sea of Showers on the right ringed by the mountain regions of Montes Apenninus and Caucasus.
