Galileo
Added an hours data to a previous 3, I intended to get many hours this season but weather has been against as usual. Edited November 21, 2022 by Galileo
Astrobdlbug
Stunning dense starfield that surrounds the cocoon . Great star colour and framing to include the dark nebula 'tail'. Do you think you will keep trying to add data to this over the winter months ? Bryan
Sonyme
I've got to agree with Bryan, the starfield looks superb, the variety of colours are manifest. The title object and dust add real depth to the image. Gary
Galileo
thanks for your kind words chaps. If we had endless clear nights I would add some more for sure but there are other targets I want to do at the moment and also I learned from my exposure experiment on NGC7000 (link below) that there seems to be little gain in going over 10 hours so I'm reasonably happy to leave it there rather than miss out on other imaging. MartinS
I love this target, your image wonderfully depicts the Cocoon floating in a sea of stars.

Dmack1
This is a great rendition of this target. The dark clouds show well and the star field is just beautiful.
