TerryMcK
Wow well done Hannah. You must be one of the very few people in the UK to have got an APOD.

Aha I nearly threw the data away before I processed it 🙈 (got 8 hours out of 20+, really bad seeing and the gain settings were not ideal, but it worked out in the end 😊)

It was a struggle to get good data indeed! I had to scrap over 50% of it!! Thanks again 💜
Carastro
I have yet to get a decent result on this target even imaging at Bortle 4. What is your Bortle scale Hannah, indeed where are you located? I think this is probably the best Thor's Helmet I have seen, so much detail. Carole I’m bortle 4 (well 3.53 technically!) the narrow Ha and Oiii filters definitely helped. Thank you so much that’s incredibly kind 💜💜💜 it’s my third edit and I’ve learnt so much since the first time I tried editing it! 🙂 my camera (2600mm) picks up a lot of detail, I adore it! It was taken with a 127mm refractor, FL 952mm. Hannah
