woodblock
The met office promised two hours clear this evening. So I got set up. Stars all around and it's raining at the same time. What the hell. I'm back inside watching the take off of the Virgin Orbit plane from Spaceport Cornwall instead. Quite exciting.
TerryMcK
I fell asleep after the stage 2 first shutdown. I missed the next bit but it was a failure according to the news websites this morning. I hope the next launch is successful. The display page they used on Youtube showing the telemetry kept crashing and coming up with "Aw snap" - they might need to take a leaf out of the Musk run SpaceX launch presentation and have a couple of camera feeds to make it more watchable although that must be expensive to do. woodblock
Yeah it was a bit clunky. Shame it failed to get into orbit but SpaceX has had a few spectacular failures too. I was pleased for Cornwall and I hope it goes well next time.
