Popular Post mightymonoped
Having a playday, so thought I'd have another go at this one. Have thrown everything but the kitchen sink at this one. A combination of two separate processed images. One I liked the colour balance in, the other I liked the stretch and contrast. Ended up registering both, then stripping the stars out of both, merging the 'luminosity' image at 50%, then merging the stars back in to the new combined image. A bit of colour match saturation, slight adjustment of Red in the mix and cropped to finish. All captures done with Skywatcher 80ED & ASI294mc pro using L-Pro filter. Sonyme
Absolutely beautiful Tony. lovely gossamer effect from the paler pink nebulosity in its outer shell. The running man also looks good although I'm thinking more bendy angel of the north! Gary

TerryMcK
It is stunning Tony. I have a little clear skies tonight and am out using the OSC with the Redcat and will be happy to get an image It’ll probably be only a tenth as good as yours though.
