Wonderful image Peter with amazing depth of colour, your Planewave/Camera combination is delivering a lot of detail.

It really is a lovely setup

Peter, that is amazing, colour, depth and detail - who knew that the running man, imaged by so many people as a side kick to the Orion Nebula had the ability to literaly shine and stand on its own like this.

What really makes the image for me is not the blue nebulosity nor the deep magenta/red hues of the running man itself, but the dust cloud colour variation particularly below the main event. Most images show the dust that surrounds orion as chocolate brown, but you have pulled out a colour variation that has the brown  transitions to rust/orange, never seen that before -is the colour due to the Ha blend methodology or how the RGB combined based on your subs that delivered this colour ?

Whatever you did the result is superb,

Bryan

Thank you ,

You are correct Bryan, that redish colour in the darker knots really showed after adding the Ha layer.
