Dmack1
I've not had a clear night since 14 December so i'm going back to some older stuff to see what benefit I can make of my current experience and the new tools like the Xterminators etc. This is M94, imaged in April 2021 with my 20+ year old 8"LX200GPS, using the 0.85 reducer from my 80ED (gives much less coma than the Meade 0.63) and my ASI2600mc. Its 4 hours of 120s subs. Reprocessing included using the new WBPP, BXT, SXT,NXT and some other methods i've picked up along the way This is the new version And this the original from 2 years ago. i like the improvement but would be interested to hear what others think.
Astrobdlbug
The new process has got more out of the data - the central region has more detail and the outer spiral arms have detail but dont look as 'pushed' as your original process. Both great galaxy images BTW but new process with new tools is better. Bryan
