Feock
I have built my observatory and have a roll off roof which is 2.5 by 2.5 metres and made of fibreglass plus core. It is strong enough to stand on and only 40kg. It rolls off with the touch of a single finger. I am setting up a leed screw attached to an arduino controlled stepper motor to open and close it. I am modifying the code at the moment and would like to find a way to replace the open close and stop buttons with an Ascom driver.Does any one else have any experience in this area. Alternatively this controller may be an option.... https://lunatico.es/ourproducts-dragonfly.html Any thoughts? Ross
Gina
I'm afraid I know next to nothing about ASCOM - I don't use it.
DaveS
Have you tried contacting Rupert at Astrograph? He uses the Dragonfly in his E-EyE installations.
Feock
Thanks for the comments ... I have splashed the cash and expect to get the unit Friday. It is going to allow me to completely remote my observatory with all the safety switches. Fingers crossed. Ross
