ZBOYD Posted November 4, 2020 Share Posted November 4, 2020 Dusted off the C8 tonight and before the cloud rolled in finally managed to get some time on Mars whilst its still close, this was the last capture I did tonight. Despite firework smoke seeing wasn't too bad. Martian poles showing nicely, (note smaller South pole is top larger North pole bottom) Syrtis Major (dark upside down L shaped central area) splitting the Arabia Terra to the right of it and the Elysium Planitia to the left. Celestron C8 (SE orange tube) f/10 - 2032 flAltair Astro IMX178C Hypercam, ROISkywatcher AZ-EQ6 GTExp = 14.8msGain = 273 Best 100 frames stacked with Autostakkert 3 from 5000 frame ser capture using SharpCap 3.3 betaColour balance and wavelets with Registax 6Tweeks with Photoshop 2021 4 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
