Rajat
Hello, My name is Rajat and I have been imaging stars for the last one and a half year. I consider myself as Intermediate-beginner when it comes to AP. I have been obsessed with different 'hobbies' at different point in time of my life but they did not last for more than 6 months or so. Now, with astronomy and astrophotography, I feel I have a long way to go. In an alternate universe, I am living in a Bortle 1 skies and doing full time astrophotography. 😄 I have taken advice of more experienced astrophotographers and started with very modest wide field DSLR set up. I started DSO imaging with Samyang 135mm F/2 lens with an ancient Canon EOS 40D (unmodified) on a tripod. Then last year in June I purchased Ioptron GEM28 and gained some experience with it. Recently purchased a William Optics Zenithstar 73III and also modified Canon EOS 40D. I shoot from my Bortle 8/9 skies and travel as and when I can to dark skies. I hope to learn/share/contribute here and get better at AP. Clear Skies!

Carastro
Welcome to the forum, but a bit confused as you say you live in Bortle 1 skies, and then later say you shoot from Bortle 8/9. Carole

Sonyme
Hi Rajat, Welcome on board. Where in India are you based? I only ask as I'm interested in what you might be able to see that would normally be too far south for us to catch a view of. Best Regards Gary P.S. I'm based in Manchester U.K.
