mightymonoped
Finally got round to having a proper go at this combo of 80ED and Redcat 51 data. Approx 3.5 hours worth given the BlurX deconvolution and Bill Blanshan Stretch to bring out the finer details and dust. Final processing in Photoshop CC. TerryMcK
I like the composition. It helps to put things into perspective when you see such a wide field view.

Astrobdlbug
Very impactful FOV/Framing, gives the horsehead and flame context in a very active area in orion. I also think that you have processed the colours very well indeed - they are all very subtle and not over saturated and red like many Horsehead images can be when the Ha channel is allowed to dominate the red . What also stands out for me is the way the gas/dust colour changes over the FOV with browns/grey/whites.... Definately time well spent with the new processing tools and computer while the outside world continues throwing rain and clouds at us, Great work Tony, Bryan Edited March 28 by Astrobdlbug typo
