AstronomyUkraine
This is a quick RGB image of M31. Still need to add Ha and Lum frames for the detail. Integration for the RGB is 10 hours.

AstronomyUkraine
Posted by: @Dmack1 That's looking really good already.Thanks. I want another couple of hours on each filter to grab more detail, and hopefully add a few hours of Ha, and around 5 hours of Lum to the final image. MarkAR
Nice work, I think the Lum will really make it pop.
AstronomyUkraine
Posted by: @MarkAR Nice work, I think the Lum will really make it pop.I'm hoping so. Going to take lum data with 3 different exposure lengths and combine them to get all the detail without blowing out the core.
paulgrover68
That really is very good already! Lots of really nice detail. I could look at M31 pics all day long.
AstronomyUkraine
@paulgrover68 Thanks Paul. I've refused to take this image for a long time, because the FOV on my ED80 and .85 reducer is just too narrow for this object. I think I got around 95% of the galaxy in the image, and I'm quite pleased with the result.Brian
