paulgrover68
Here's my M33 - I shot around 3 hours and I know some of the subs were borderline. I swear the same bank of cloud has been hanging around all evening - it goes one way, then comes back, lingers then goes away again. This always strikes me as a bit of a scruffy galaxy.I think more time would have bagged more definition.
AstronomyUkraine
Posted by: @paulgrover68 This always strikes me as a bit of a scruffy galaxy. It certainly doesn't have the grace of M81, or M101 but is still a great target to image. PeterBolt
That looks great! I tried to get the same image last week. I took 12 X 10min subs. Here's the result.
MarkAR
Looks really good Paul. More time and weeding out the worst subs can really help a lot.
paulgrover68
@MarkAR Definitily - I have to say the lessons I learned doing m31 last week have been born out with this one. I took Andromeda to 5 hours on the second session and it transformed the original image. M33 is very well placed from my location, so I will thrown some more time on this.
