AstronomyUkraine
This is 11 hours of OIII on NGC 6543. I took advantage of the moonless nights to shoot the OIII. The stack consists of 66 - 600s subs. I will need to take some shorter subs to try and tame the core a little.
Sonyme
Crikey! Fascinating image. Some lovely detail. Would you need to use some kind of mask to dumb down the centre of the cat's eye? Gary

I doubt it will completely dumb down the core, but it should improve it.
Padraic M
Wow! Both for the quality of the image, and that you managed to get 11 hours of moonless nights!

We had a good spell of clear weather here, and it's still ongoing.
RaDec Posted yesterday at 10:12 Share Posted yesterday at 10:12 Good grief, that's a really amazing image Brian. Not seen that one before either. I think you've had more clear skies in a few days than we've had since Christmas. The Eastern side of the Uk is messed up at the moment.
