paulgrover68
Two clear nights in a row? Who saw that coming? After my mount woes I was split on continuing my initial plan of 5 hours on the Rosette or adding a couple more hours to M42. I stuck with the Rosette and stayed up way too late.30 x 300 second subs / Unity Gain / -10C / Optolong L-enHance

TerryMcK
I like it Paul. The reduction of the stars and the delicate processing of the nebula makes it really pop. Fantastic.

paulgrover68
Thank you all! I'm still finding my way so every new target is a leap in the dark (literally). When I compare this to my M101 from mid May, I'm am genuinely shocked by the progress I've made. It's still a long road - I love looking at everyone else's images and thinking "right how do I get from where I am to there?" For me that's what makes astrophotography such a great hobby. @TerryMcK processing has been the steepest learning curve of all. I still struggle to detect that point when enough is enough; there is always the temptation for "just one more stretch"

Jkulin
Loads of lovely detail there Paul, it might be worth adding a little more blue to balance the red.
